How much does a mural cost?
For an Interior mural, $15-$25 per square foot is the average mural rate but can go to $30-$40 per sq ft varying heavily on the amount of detail that goes into the final product.
More detail = more hours = higher overall cost.
Contributing factors for exterior mural prices can vary based on surface type, accessibility, if surface needs to be prepped, if a lift rental is necessary, etc.
What happens after I send you a commission request?
Next, I’ll respond within 48 hours asking for you to describe your vision in as much detail as possible, provide example photos, and approximate dimensions of the space. After you send those, I’ll be able to give you a cost estimate and we will figure out a design and schedule that works for you.

Does the surface of the wall matter?
Yes, Painting on brick or corrugated metal will add a few hours to the total project timeline but any surface can be primed and painted!
